According to the book, from 1995 to 2006, 1802 persons were killed as a result of terrorist attacks in Russia. “What will we allow them tomorrow?” These words come from an article by Anna Politkovskaya, some of whose articles are in the book.
In the framework of the project “Citizens against Terror”, members of the ‘Nord-Ost’ organization intend to visit cities throughout Russia and tell those facts that, in their words, the government, FSB, and attorney general’s office are hiding from the public. Recall that on October 23rd, 2002, during the second act of the popular musical ‘Nord-Ost’, a group of armed persons in masks seized the Dubrovka theater in Moscow. At the time more than 900 persons became hostages of the terrorists. After unsuccessful negotiations with the terrorists the Russian special services stormed the building, and more than 130 hostages died, including 3 Ukrainians. During the assault 40 terrorists were killed as well. Add as favourites (73) | Views: 2539 | E-mail
