 During the last three days the number of victims of the worst terror act in the history of our country has risen.
Today at exactly 1:05 pm Moscow time white balloons will rocket up into the sky above the partially-destroyed school building in Beslan – 334 of them – the number that died on that day three years ago.  Человеческая реакция на горе со временем формализуется и становится датой в календаре. В день памяти по ушедшим человек скорбит — искренне или формально, но соблюдает ритуал, не позволяя себе развлечений. Но, как правило, это касается только своего горя, личных утрат.  Три года назад на наших глазах разворачивалась кровавая драма с захватом вооруженными террористами более 1100 заложников в школе №1 североосетинского города Беслан. Двумя годами ранее похожий по сути теракт произошел в столичном Театральном центре на Дубровке. Захват заложников, к великому сожалению, стал привычным явлением современной действительности. September 3rd  Today Russia marked a Day of Solidarity in the struggle against terrorism. This is the newest Memorial Day in Russia, which was established by a federal law titled “Days of Russian Military Glory”, dated June 6th, 2005. It is connected with the tragic events in Beslan, when gunmen took hostage one of the city schools. As a result of the terror act in School #1 more than 300 persons, including more than 150 children, died.
