On March 27^th there was a meeting in Voronezh between residents of the city and the Nord-Ost’ regional community organization and fund to assist the victims of terror.

People had gather at 4:00 p.m. at the ‘House of Actors’ professional union, wishing to hear about the tragedy at ‘Nord-Ost’ in a version that was different from the official one.  It did not take place, however, without provocations from the pro-Kremlin ‘Nashi’ organization and ‘Young Guardsmen’ from the United Russia party, according to a correspondent from Kasparov.ru

Tatiana Karpova, cochairman of the ‘Nord-Ost’ organization, and Marina Litvinovich, editor of the ‘Beslan Truth’ web site, attended the meeting with residents of Voronezh.

Several 'Nashists' and 'Young Guardsmen' set up an unsanctioned picket line in front of the entrance.  The Nashi activists also set up three stands with pictures of Bolshevik party chairman Eduard Limonov, businessman Boris Berezovsky, and RNDS party leader Mikhail Kasyanov.  Each image was captioned: “traitor!”  People who came to the meeting called the action by the Nashists blasphemy and ridicule of the dead.  The young supporters of President Putin, however, were not bothered in the least, and the police refused to break up the unsanctioned protest.

Tatiana Karpova gave the introductory speech before those gathered inside.  She said that establishing truth about the events, and seeking justice for the victims of the acts of terror, has led to a conflict between them and the authorities that are unwilling to find and punish those guilty of the tragedy.

Later there was an exhibition of a film about ‘Nord-Ost’, titled: ‘Terror in Moscow’.  Afterwards all who wished could pose questions.  Here there were provocative acts from the Nashi movement, but they had no success in causing problems, and they left the auditorium under the upset cries of the spectators.

On the second day, March 28^th, they plan to tell about the tragedy in Beslan, and about the apartment blasts in Moscow and Volgodonsk.  That meeting is planned for 5:00 p.m.
