A majority of terrorism documentaries warn that such events can happen in any place, at anytime, and to anyone, even to you. 00:48:56 / 124.29Mb Added: 21-May-2007 Category: Accidents, catastrophes Terror in Moscow: a documentary on the capture of hostages in the Moscow theater by terrorists from Chechnya (directed by Dan Reed) that was shown in the US on HBO. It makes one shudder for another reason: the awful and terrifying events described in it could only happen in Russia. The film is mainly the testimony of the surviving eyewitnesses, decrypted telephone recordings, and previously never before seen footage of the assault on the building and its aftermath, and, most importantly, a unique video recording of the events made by one of the gunmen with his own video camera. ATTENTION: The film’s commentaries are in English, while the words of the eyewitnesses are in Russian. |
