Nine soldiers from the ‘Alpha’ special forces unit, who had braved the assault on the Dubrovka theatrical center, are in Moscow hospitals. According to information from Interfax, on November 6th Russian member of parliament Sergey Goncharov, who is also president of the ‘Alpha’ unit veteran’s association, started that five special forces soldiers were in the hospital, but lately another four officers had fallen ill and were now hospitalized. In the MP’s opinion, the cause of the special forces soldiers’ illnesses could be the gas used in the assault to neutralize the terrorists. We must add to this report that the components of the gas used in the assault are still not known to neither the media, nor, according to television station TVS, to physicians either. |
