 The NYPD has published footage that, according to investigators, provide an unambiguous answer to the question as to why not only the Twin Towers fell on September 11th, 2001, but World Trade Center (WTC) building #7 as well.
Followers of conspiracy theories, among other things, claim that the WTC buildings collapsed not because aircraft crashed into them, but due to the fact that the FBI stored explosives in the basements. According to them, how else could one explain the fall of «number seven», which was not touched by the airplanes?
Video materials that have only recently been declassified show a large fire raging on one of the building's lower floors, confirming the official theory that the collapse was due to the destruction of its load-bearing steel structures under high temperature, according to 'Russia 24'. Nearly 3,000 people were killed as a result of the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States. 2,606 of them were in the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York, 125 in the Pentagon in Washington, and another 246 people were on board the four passenger aircraft that were seized by the suicide terrorists.
