On September 3rd in Moscow there will be events marking a Day of Solidarity in the fight against terrorism, according to the Public Relations Committee of the capital city. A federal law established the Memorial Day, titled: Days of military glory (victorious days) of Russia. It is dedicated to the tragic events of September in Beslan. On September 1st, 2004, a group of militants seized a city school. There were 334 victims slain in the tragedy, including 186 children. Commemorative events will take place on September 3 in many district centers The biggest rally with the participation of organizations of victims of the terrorist attack is planned for the area in front of Dubrovka at 3:00 pm. A memorial rally and the placement of flowers “in memory of the victims of Beslan” will be held at the monument by sculptor Zurab Tsereteli opposite the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin on Kulishki, at the intersection of Solyanka Street and Podkolokolny Lane. Memorial rallies will also be held at the Cultural Park and Lubyanka subway stations, in the lobby of the Avtozavodskaya subway station, in the pedestrian underpass by the Pushkinskaya subway station, at the site of the explosion near the Riga subway station, the sites of the bombed houses on Guryanov Street and Kashirsk Highway, the site of the explosion near the Tushino airfield, and at the site of the blast at the National Hotel on Tverskaya Street.
